There could be 2 causes.
When you download mail from our servers,
it normally stays on our server until
you completely download all of it. You
could be setup, however, to leave the
mail on the server possibly causing
you to get it over and over again. In
Outlook Express, go to Tools/Accounts/Mail
tab/double click your email account.
Go to the Advanced tab and make sure
the box "Leave a copy of messages
on server" is not checked. You
would only check this box if you check
your mail on 2 computers and want both
computers to get it, in which case one
of the computers should be set to not
leave a copy.
More likely, you are
getting "stuck" on a message
either because it is excessively large
or "malformed" (not in a correct
email format). We can delete the particular
message for you or you can do it in
WebMail.
Click WebMail
to login to your email account online
(after closing Outlook Express), and
delete your unwanted messages there,
including the one getting "stuck".
Then you should be able to retrieve
your mail in Outlook Express!
